I would like to share with you the great feeling l always have when l share with local people from what l also received from you, which helped me to start my own company.
l someone who supported me am also giving a % for free to the local and poor people because l know the mean of this until you showed up.
l have now my safaris car and from the money you supported me with and now a lot are benefiting from it including me and my family. Am attaching the photos and you may be surprised to see you name on some places when you come back. When l give l tell the person or the family my story and your help and why am also giving to them then l also stick you logo to anyone benefiting from that and on my vehicle even when l have my own clients and they appreciate and some of them they also give after telling them the story, even how you hided the money in the toilet long drop just for the people to benefit, great Job. This is not about money but the heart of giving. Am not a good story teller but l will tell this to anyone.

I have attached a picture of the two bracelets that spoke to me. Ever since I have put them on, I have found myself wondering……
Who is the person who made this?
What is their life like?
What is their daily routine?
Are they happy?
How are they feeling right now?
Are they concerned about something?
Who are they as a person?
I never expected this bracelet to have such an effect on me. It is a physical representation of the knowing I have that we are all One. It reminds me that we are all connected, that my choices effect others, and of the authenticity of their culture. It has challenged me to live authentically!
I did not expect such a small donation to have such a dramatic impact. I can only imagine the return received from seeing a passion project to completion!
Someone in the Shipibo has truly touched a life and made it better.

I’m glad I came too. I was very impressed by your son-in law’s sincerity, commitment, bravery (“I would risk my life to get the money to these people”), and competence. Talk about a can-do guy! I was also appalled by the waste and ineptitude in the government programs and in most NGOs. David’s (Chimu) way seems like an obvious better choice – hope others will take note. One takeaway for me was the importance of empowering people to do for themselves rather than just doing for them with no real regard for what they actually want/need.
