SUMMARY

Inti Raymi Fund visited Lebanon and provided financial support into the Jordanian Based non-profit organization called Generations for Peace. Funds were used to create a mini-documentary revealing the hardships of the Syrians in exile living in Lebanon and the opportunities afforded them within the Generation for Peace Youth Volunteer Platform. This documentary sheds light into the daily lives and trauma caused by the Syrian War. This awareness will help foster greater contributions from relief organizations such as the EU, UN and Japanese government.

INTI RAYMI FUND’S ALLIANCE WITH GENERATIONS FOR PEACE

The Inti Raymi Fund created a synergistic alliance with the insightful Peace Building non-profit organization called Generations For Peace (“GFP”) based in Amman, Jordan alongside the expert film maker, Elia Saikaly. Our synergestic goal is to facilitate peace through a deeper understanding of the complexities and human nature behind conflicts in the Middle East. Elia created a short documentary, based upon the works of Generations for Peace and their team building efforts, specifically concentrating the focus on their volunteers in Lebanon. This documentary reveals many untold stories involving the collateral damage of wars and conflicts between Refugees and their gracious Host Families and their struggles to co-exist in this period of the Syrian War. This is all seen through the eyes of the GFP Volunteers and their work in Lebanon.

The Inti Raymi Fund believes in the Generations for Peace Organization so much, that we have contributed $25,000 towards this film which will help further GFP’s efforts in the Middle East Peace Process. We suggest you directly support Generations for Peace not only because of their brilliant, paradigm shifting insight and programs towards creating a more peaceful future in the Middle East, but also because of their approach style, led with Respect and Dignity helping those less fortunate.
